Description

Bydd y contract hwn yn ymwneud â’r broses o greu cylchgrawn TGAU Hanes newydd i gefnogi dysgwyr sy’n astudio’r cymhwyster. Bydd pob rhifyn o’r cylchgrawn yn cael ei gyhoeddi yn Gymraeg ac yn Saesneg. Nod y comisiwn yw creu cylchgrawn a fydd yn rhoi deunydd darllen o ansawdd da i ddysgwyr, a hwnnw’n cyd-fynd â’r fanyleb TGAU.

Nod y contract hwn yw creu cylchgrawn a fydd yn cryfhau dulliau addysgu yn y dosbarth ac yn rhoi deunyddiau astudio o ansawdd da i ddysgwyr. Bydd y cylchgrawn hefyd yn cryfhau sgiliau llythrennedd a darllen, ac yn rhoi’r adnoddau a’r hyder angenrheidiol i ymarferwyr i addysgu meysydd newydd yn y cymhwyster.

Yn ystod cyfnod y contract, bydd y cyflenwr yn cynhyrchu ac yn cyhoeddi tri rhifyn digidol (yn Gymraeg ac yn Saesneg) o’r cylchgrawn, erbyn dim hwyrach na 1 Medi 2026, 31 Rhagfyr 2026 a 31 Mawrth 2027. Bydd hyn yn sicrhau bod adnoddau addas ar gael i ddysgwyr ac ymarferwyr yn ystod blwyddyn gyntaf y cymhwyster newydd.

The contract will cover provision of a new GCSE History magazine to support learners studying the qualification. Each edition of the magazine will be published in both English and in Welsh. The aim of the commission is to provide a magazine where learners can access high quality reading material that is designed to support the GCSE specification.

This contract aims to provide a magazine resource designed to enhance classroom teaching approaches and provide learners with quality study materials. The magazine will also strengthen literacy and reading skills, and equip practitioners with both the resources and the confidence they need to teach new areas of the qualification.

During the period of the contract, the supplier will produce and publish three digital editions (in both English and Welsh) of the magazine no later than 1 September 2026, 31 December 2026 and 31 March 2027. This will ensure that appropriate resources are available to learners and practitioners during the first year of the new qualification.
