West Berkshire Council invites bids from suitably qualified, experienced and registered organisations to deliver a Supported Lodgings Service for Young People in Care.The organisation must be registered with Ofsted to provide supported living for 16- and 17-year-olds and meet the regulatory and inspection expectations for continued registration. The required category for Registration with Ofsted is "Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023 , Regulation 2(1), para (d))" This Supported Lodgings service will be for children in care and care leavers, many of whom will be seeking asylum, providing accommodation within a stable home setting along with support from the Host (the Host is the person providing lodgings within their home for a Service User and support) and a visiting support service from the Provider.
