Scope
Description
The successful Supplier is required to provide charge points. This may include (but not be limited to) planning, design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, operation, maintenance, annual payments to the landowner, and decommissioning of all infrastructure, equipment, systems, and other components necessary to achieve the functionality and performance levels specified in the Concession Contract.
The Supplier's activities may encompass (but not be limited to) project, design, construction, and operational management, stakeholder liaison, Buyer reporting, and various tasks related to the installation and operation of new fast and/or rapid charge points at the stated sites. These tasks include confirming and completing site leases, detailed planning and design, obtaining necessary agreements and approvals, securing new electricity supply connections, and the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment and associated infrastructure.
Post-installation, the Supplier is responsible for operating and maintaining the installed charge points and associated infrastructure for at least 10 years, funded through the Supplier's commercial operation of each charging point. Additionally, the Supplier must decommission the installed charge points and associated infrastructure at the end of the operational period and reinstate each site.

Engagement process description
Scope of the Engagement
Isle of Anglesey County Council is carrying out this engagement for the following purposes:
a. developing the authority's requirements and approach to the procurement;
b. designing a procedure, conditions of participation or award criteria;
c. preparing the tender notice and associated tender documents;
d. identifying suppliers that may be able to supply the services and works required;
e. identifying likely contractual terms;
f. building capacity among suppliers in relation to the contract being awarded.
The engagement will consist of an online market engagement event through Teams and a follow up questionnaire which the suppliers will be invited to complete afterward.
Any information provided will be kept confidential to the Council and its advisory team. Any responses will not form any part of the evaluation of any providers subsequent tender submission.
