Dementia Training - To engage with the independent care sector to support frontline staff to be suitably competent while caring for patients and service-users with dementia by enabling them to access relevant training and support so they can effectively implement the following objectives:

• To provide high quality of life whilst living with care in a dementia care home

• To ensure that there is appropriate advice and support for carers/family to main good communication and with specific help in implementing family support forums.

• To ensure that individual needs are met and care and support is co-coordinated involving a Relationship Centered Care alongside an Individual Centered Care approach

• To ensure that dignity and respect is paramount
