This procurement exercise is for the implementation of a Framework Agreement for the delivery of Civil Engineering Works valued at no more than £50,000 on behalf of Durham County Council. Scope of the Project
The proposed Framework Agreement includes, but is not limited to, the provision of general civil engineering works which could range from:-
• Minor kerb patching and flag repairs
• Flood alleviation and drainage schemes
• Bridges and structural works
• Road and footpath repair and reinstatement works
• New highway construction schemes
• Construction of footpaths & cycleways
• Construction of roundabouts on existing highways
• Alterations, signalling or widening of existing highways
• Road safety engineering schemes
• All the above could include kerbing, replacement of gullies, installation of new drainage, paving works using blocks or flags, fencing, wooden and metal, brickwork and general civil operations.
