The purpose of this PIN is to inform that the market of the upcoming requirement for Backup Atmosphere Monitoring Systems (BAMS).
BAMS is part of the Platform Equipment Delivery Team (PEDT) within the Submarine Delivery Agency (SDA) and seeks to meet this requirement through a competitive tender process in accordance with the Defence and Security Public Contract Regulations (DSPCR) 2011. It is anticipated that the competitive procurement process will commence over a period of time in 2022-23. The programme is designated a Category D project, with an anticipated value between £2-3M GBP.
The initial duration will be 36 months. There is potential for two additional 12 month periods.
