Scope

Description

The PHA is tendering for the provision of postvention services for CYP aged 4-17 who have been bereaved by suicide; and for the provision of community capacity awareness training for people who, within their professional role, support CYP who have been bereaved by suicide. The Procurement and Logistics Service (PaLS) on behalf of the Public Health Agency (PHA) wish to carry out a market engagement with providers interested in delivering a Postvention service for under 18s who have been bereaved by suicide.

This Preliminary Market Engagement will take the form of a Briefing Paper and Questionnaire for providers to respond to. The purpose of this Preliminary Market Engagement is to raise awareness of an upcoming procurement and gauge the level of interest in the provision of such services, and also to make potential Providers aware in advance of key service requirements and the introduction of the New Procurement Act 2023 as well as Northern Ireland Procurement Policy Notes (PPN) relating to Social Value (01/21) & Human Rights (05/21) that will be included in any future Tender.

Engagement process description
