Northumbrian Water Limited (NWL) has the requirement for Electricity & Gas supplies across its operational areas. The contract will be split into two lots:
Lot 1 - Electricity
Lot 2 - Gas
NWL is a major user of electricity with 495 Half Hourly import meters and 1,390 Non-Half Hourly import supplies. It also has 18 Half Hourly electricity export meters. NWL requires a supplier/exporter of electricity, for the portfolio.
The requirement is for gas supply contracts for 28 supplies covering import and export of gas. The contract has an estimated annual value of £4M/year (estimated gross of any payments to NWL for gas export).
It is mandatory for the winning contractor of each lot to take on all supplies as part of that lot under this contract.

Applicants are asked to note that this procurement process will be conducted electronically with all documents and communication being managed through the Northumbrian Water e-Sourcing Spend Management portal called 'Ariba.
Expressions of interest must be sent to the e-mail address lewis.timmins@nwl.co.uk before the deadline date of 6th September 2021 at 12 noon.
Once expression of interest has been received that contains the details below, applicants will be given access to the Ariba portal within 48 hours from request. This portal will contain all the tender documents associated with this procurement that are available at the time. An email link will also be provided to the email address you provide to access the portal.
The deadline for return of the completed PQQ is 10th September 2021 at 12 noon.
