Bedford Borough Council 'the Authority' wishes to tender for the provision of a Social Prescribing Service as the Contracting body; the Service is jointly commissioned by Bedford Borough Council and Central Bedfordshire Council. The Authority wishes to appoint a provider to deliver a comprehensive social prescribing service across Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire to help residents access timely and appropriate support, information, and programmes, to meet social, practical, emotional, and economic needs, thereby improving health and tackling inequalities, with a particular focus on supporting more vulnerable groups.The contract term will be three (3) Years with Option to extend for two (2) years delivered in two (2) twelve (12) month instalments.
