Network Rail requires a Telecommunications Network Design Service. The purpose is to provide Transmission design services to all areas of Network Rail, implementing infrastructure changes to the network.

This will involve designing and implementing step changes to the Transmission Network (including security), to improve and upgrade the Fixed Transmission Network (FTN) and deliver the full Fixed Transmission Network – Next Generation (FTNx). The request is in relation to the production of digital designs required to facilitate infrastructure changes and improvements to Network Rail communications systems.
