The Healthy Child Programme 0-19 Service is to include: infant feeding; health visiting; school nursing; healthy weight nurses; oral health (5 services in total).

To be delivered by one provider in one contract.

Healthy visiting delivers health advice and support to the 0 - 5 population and their families it has a mandate and is statutory; the other services - SN, HWN and infant feeding and oral health are not statutory however they are preventative 0-19 services; the HCP services are generally standardised across the country although local variation exists; infant feeding and oral health support the healthy visiting statutory service; school nursing deliver health and wellbeing advice and support to the school aged population and is part of the Healthy Child Programme 5 - 19 which is a government endorsed programme.
