It is expected that the RFI will result in a future tender exercise, with a timescale for that yet to be fully defined.

This Prior Information Notice is being used by SPA to issue a Request for Information (RFI).

The Authority is currently considering the creation a Multi-Lot Framework Agreement for the Provision of ICT Infrastructure Hardware, Associated Software, Support and Maintenance and Services.

Police Scotland Digital Division has continuous requirements for the refresh, replacement and new purchase of Networking, Storage, Server and Cyber Security infrastructure hardware, software and related services. This occurs on an annual basis, relative to refresh and replacement cycles for End of Life (EOL) equipment and for new sites as appropriate.

Due to the continued trend for the procurement of very similar goods and services and the anticipation of this continuing in future years, a more strategic procurement approach is required to meet the needs of the Digital Division, whilst ensuring best value is achieved.

This would be a first generation Framework Agreement in order to support the Authority`s Digital, Data and ICT Strategy and can be utilised for both BAU and Transformational Projects.
