In June 2021, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust (the Trust) launched its Sustainability strategy 2021-2031. This includes the aim to reach net zero carbon emissions from our own fleet (cars, vans, and a range of patient transport vehicles) by 2031.
The trust currently has a core fleet of some 240 vehicles (60 minibuses, 80 vans, 100 cars excluding salary sacrifice and grey fleet) the majority of which currently use petrol or diesel. The Trust also has visitor car parks at most of its sites.
