Dŵr Cymru Cyfyngedig (DCC) Welsh Water intends to initiate a tender process to secure delivery of Wastewater Networks associated works from November 2025 for up to 8 years. DCC is currently reviewing the precise structure, and nature of works to be undertaken, to both enhance, maintain and extend its current wastewater network assets.

This PIN is issued to launch a market engagement exercise before DCC publish its contract notice which is currently expected to be later this year. The objective of this market engagement is to test our approach and assess its alignment to the market offering, to help DCC prepare for procurement. It is not itself a call for tender or a pre-qualification exercise.

The main areas of works are split into 4 separate Lots as follows:

Lot 1 North Wales Wastewater Network Repair & Maintenance & Network Operating Services

The Services to include but not limited to the following:

• Wastewater network apparatus repair and maintenance.

• 24/7 standby service.

This Periodic Indicative Notice (PIN) does not constitute a call for competition to procure any works or repair services. This notice is issued solely for the purpose of undertaking market engagement to gauge capability and interest in the market to assist in our decision making prior to the commencement of the procurement process. Parties will not be prejudiced by any response or failure to respond to this request and a response to this PIN does not guarantee any invitation to participate in this event or any future procurement.

In response to enquiries, we will provide a copy of our Information Memorandum which includes further details on our programme opportunities and a short questionnaire which we will ask you to complete and return to us. DCC may contact organisations who have submitted fully completed questionnaires to arrange one-to-one meetings in July, the timings of which will be mutually agreed.
