Mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP) Assay Kits and Consumables for the detection of Severe Acute Respiratory coronavirus (SARS-CoV2). The University requires a simple molecular high-throughput test that provides easy readout results within 20-30 minutes following extraction of viral ribonucleic acid (RNA) from saliva samples. These consumables will be used in the ongoing provision of a special schools SARS-CoV2 surveillance programme being run on site at Queen’s in the LAMP laboratory. These consumables will be used on the Optigene Genie HT System and must be compatible. The kits will include:Direct RT-LAMP Mastermix (1 vial with 500 reactions per vial) 10X COVID-19 Primer Mix (1 vial with 500 reactions per vial) RapiLyze Sample Buffer (1 vial with 500 reactions per vial)
