Explanation:

This is a Voluntary Ex Ante Transparency (VEAT) Notice.

This notice is to indicate that the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) intends to contract with MIS Emergency Systems for the provision of an integrated systems First Responder’s APP.

The APP being purchased provides direct and improved integration with the Services current operational systems. This improved integration will provide enhanced tasking and tracking of First Responders and the sharing of information on the incident being attended.

Implementing this mobile Responder App will mitigate the risk of system failure, and ensure volunteer dispatch remains reliable and secure across all communities.
