Summerfield Group Practice is located in Birmingham and serves patients across the Soho and Jewellery Quarter ward of Birmingham. The practice is part of the I3 Ladywood Primary Care Network. The practice has weighted list size of 8,213 patients (April2023). Based on the above and a raw list size of 8694 the value of the contract will be approximately £840,00 pa The Care Quality Commission have rated the practices as Good (December 2013). It is expected the practice will provide the following as part of the contract:• Essential Services• All Additional Services• All Enhanced Services commissioned by NHS England and Local Improvement Schemes commissioned by the ICB • Opening hours and service delivery from 8.00am -6.30pm Monday to Friday (except statutory bank and public holidays)• Participation in the Primary Care Network Enhanced Service• Extended opening hours in line with requirements of the Primary Care Network The Commissioners wish to invite suitably qualified and experienced providers to help gain market views on the viability of procuring the delivery of these requirements at the Summerfield Group Practice. Commissioners are considering the length of future contracts as part of this exercise and are considering a term of 9 years or 7 years plus 2 years. Commissionersare considering the funding of future contracts with equity to national GMS contracts central toconsiderations. For 2023/2024 the GMS price is £99.70 per weighted patient. The Commissioner is holding a Market Place Event at14:00hr on the 25th July 2023 via MS Teams to inform potentialbidders of the requirements of the Service.
