Solent NHS Trust and Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust are soon to become one of the largest NHS Foundation Trusts in the UK, specialising in mental health and learning disabilities, as well as offering physical health community-based services. With a workforce of more than 13,000 and a footprint that spans more than 200 sites, we share an ambitious vision, so everyone has easy access to safe and effective care.
Currently Solent NHS Trust and Southern Health FT are working closely to integrate all our collective community, mental health, and learning disability services. Our new organisation, to be known as Hampshire and Isle of Wight NHS Foundation Trust, is set to launch in the coming months.
Both trust’s existing separate Data/Business Intelligence functions, along with respective infrastructure, are to be merged in the medium to long-term, providing a future proofed best-of-breed solution for data provision across one of the county’s largest community and mental health Foundation Trusts, making data a strategic asset.
The incoming Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, requires support with development of our future data strategy to become a digitally mature organisation, that enables our services to adapt and respond to the needs of the local communities and service users.
Solent NHS Trust wishes to carry out pre-tender market engagement with interested providers at a virtual market engagement event, the purpose of which is to raise awareness of the upcoming procurement; gauge the level of interest in the provision of the services; receive feedback from the market by outlining the proposals for the delivery of this service in advance of any formal tender process.
two.2.14) Additional information
Please register your interest via the Atamis system. You will be able to view this notice via the 'current tenders' list available on the following link:
https://health-family.force.com/s/Welcome
A copy of the Draft Specification has been provided in the Documents section of the Atamis e-tendering portal. Potential Bidders will need to register on the Atamis system and express interest to be able to access this document.
The Trust will also be holding a Market Engagement Event on Friday 12th July, 10:00 - 11:30
If you wish to join this event, please email commercial@solent.nhs.uk, with the Subject of Solent NHS Trust Business Information (BI) Data Warehouse Market Engagement Event, providing the name and email address of the attendee(s).
The event will be held virtually via MS Teams. Calendar invites containing joining instructions will be circulated on Wednesday 10th July.
If you are unable to attend, a copy of the transcript will be uploaded to the Documents section of the Atamis portal for this pre-procurement project. Interested suppliers are also asked to provide feedback and comments on the draft specification via the Atamis system as an alternative to providing feedback at the Market Engagement Event.
For the avoidance of doubt, this stage of the project is not part of a formal procurement process and the Trust is not committing, at this stage, to carrying out such a process. Participation or non-participation in the pre-procurement market engagement process shall not prevent any supplier participating in a potential future procurement, nor is it intended that any information supplied as part of the pre-procurement process shall place any supplier at an advantage in a potential procurement process. Participation in the pre-procurement market engagement process will be at each supplier's own cost. No expense in responding to this process will be reimbursed by the Trust. This is not a call for competition.
