two.2.4) Description of the procurement

Norfolk County Council is seeking to appoint a provider to deliver Level 3 Diplomas to Residential Childcare Practitioners. One of the key responsibilities of Norfolk County Council is to ensure training is delivered to a consistently high standard and to evaluate the effectiveness of the training.It is a legal requirement that staff working in a residential children’s home need to complete a level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare within two years of their start date. Staff who work for more than 25 hours a week are automatically qualified via the apprenticeship route, so this qualification would be for staff working less than 25 hours per week, and relief staff whose hours are irregular.
