Description

Cambridgeshire County Council (the "Council") is currently anticipating procuring a Term Service Contract ("TSC"), a Professional Services Contract ("PSC") and is also potentially looking to set up a Highways Planned Maintenance Works and Major Schemes Framework ("HWSF"). These proposed three services are together referred to as the "Highways Programme".

The Council is conducting this pre-market engagement exercise to engage with suppliers to provide such organisations with market information about the Highways Programme and in order to secure feedback from prospective suppliers on the proposed approach to each contract.

At this time, the Council is asking suppliers to assist it in refining its understanding of market experience and capability and wishes to provide a platform for suppliers to engage.

Engagement process description

This notice serves as an invitation to prospective suppliers to participate in this pre-market engagement exercise.

To receive the Pre-Market Engagement Information Document, interested parties should email Jon Collyns and Samantha Hastings on jon.collyns@cambridgeshire.gov.uk and samantha.hastings@cambridgeshire.gov.uk

The document provides further background to the Highways Programme and includes a short questionnaire, focused on each of the three procurements, for completion as relevant.

The objective of the Pre-Market Engagement Information Document is to enable suppliers to provide their key insights and recommendations to the Council in respect of its approach to the Highways Programme.

The closing date for receipt of submitted questionnaires is 12pm on Monday 9th June 2025.
