The London Borough of Bromley is inviting tenders from suitably qualified Providers with the relevant experience and technical ability to deliver a Bed-based Short Breaks (Respite) and Day Services for adults with Learning Disabilities. The Service will be based at the Council's current respite setting.

Short Breaks is a short-term temporary care for people who are cared for in their own home by a family member or friend and provides a means for the carers to have a break from their caring responsibilities enabling them to sustain their caring arrangements in the Service User's own home.

The Service to be provided must be personalised, flexible and responsive to each individual service user accessing the Service. The providers must be innovative and make effective use of assistive technology to improve the short breaks and day service offer to Service Users.

The London Borough of Bromley ('The Council') is inviting tenders for the provision of a Short Breaks (Respite) and Day Activity Services based in 118 Widmore Road, Bromley.

All applications must be made through the London Tenders Portal only and no to the contact details contained in this notice.

Section six. Complementary information

six.3) Additional information

Evaluation of the tender will be based on the CIPFA evaluation model and in full compliance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015m the Council's Contract Procedure Rules and stated criteria.

Evaluation of the criteria for quality issues, etc, will also include the operation of minimum score thresholds. If a proposal receives a score below the required threshold then the bid may not be considered further. The minimum acceptable score is a requirement to obtain at least half of the available points in any particular area. An indicative use of this model can be downloaded from the Council's website.

The Council may make use of the contract for further negotiated arrangements to the extent permissible and in compliance with the relevant procurement regulations. Prospective contractors are advised that the documents issued at this time in conjunction with the Find A Tender Notice may be supplemented and / or amended as provided for in Regulation 53(6) of the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
