two.1.4) Short description
Cambridgeshire County Council has launched this Pseudo Dynamic Purchasing System (PDPS), for providers of Early Years Education (EYE) and childcare. This is intended to be the only means through which providers can apply to run settings in Council-owned premises, as and when the need for such provision arises, providing a streamlined method of selecting the most suitable provider while minimising gaps in provision for Cambridgeshire’s families.
If you feel that you or your organisation may be interested in securing contracts to run EYE and childcare from Council premises, including schools, at some point in the future, you should submit an application to join the Pseudo DPS. Applications to join the PDPS will be evaluated in rounds, please see the Invitation to Tender for further details.
It is important to note that childcare providers who are not on the PDPS, either because they have been unsuccessful or have not applied, will not be able to apply for any of these opportunities.
This pseudo-DPS is open for use by all current CCC partners (see clause 1.12.2.1) including partners and other organisations delegating services and or functions to CCC By way of access agreement this pseudo-DPS is also open to new CCC customers seeking to utilise CCC frameworks on an independent third party basis including any school, academy, university or other educational establishment within the county of Cambridgeshire
