two.2.4) Description of the procurement
Peterborough City Council and Cambridgeshire County Council are conducting a soft market test regarding Respite Care Services with Accommodation for adults with a learning disability and/or Autism living with long-term care and support needs.
Potential providers are invited to respond to the questions in Part 3 of the published documentation concerning the proposed service to be procured. Responses to these questions may be used to inform our commissioning approach to the tender exercise.
In order to make an informed decision on the best form of tender we are looking to the market to:
• Suggest innovative and cost-effective delivery solutions, which may inform our specification development.
• Inform our thinking regarding commercial considerations of providing a Respite Care Service.
• Ascertain a clear understanding of the market's interest, capacity and experience to deliver a Respite Care Service.
• Understand the optimum way of procuring that will enable a wide cross section of the supply market to bid, including charities, social enterprises and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and new entrants to the market.
To respond to the soft market test, please first express interest via the following ProContract advert: https://procontract.due-north.com/Advert?advertId=4cee5857-2c08-ed11-8116-005056b64545
Once your expression of interest has been accepted, you will be able to access the soft market test event and download the relevant documentation.
This notice does not constitute a call for competition to procure any services for the Council and the Council is not bound to accept any proposals offered. The Council is not liable for any costs, fees or expenses incurred by any party participating in the soft market test exercise. Any procurement of any services by the Council in due course will be carried out strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
