This is a contract award notice and is intended to provide notice of NHS Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board (herein "the Authority")'s intention to award a contract to deliver the provision of Adults Positive Pathways (Thurrock Alliance)) service for Mid and South Essex to the patients within the Thurrock geographical footprint. The contract is for 6-month from 1st April 2025 to 30th April 2025 awarded under DAP C (to enable completion of planned procurement). The aggregate contract value is forecasted at£169,879.

The Positive Pathways Service supports adults in the community on a short-term basis to stay well and thrive. We accept professional referrals from GP surgeries, Mental Health Practitioners, Social Prescribers and NHS Community Mental Health Teams.

The contract is for 6-month from 1st April 2025 to 30th April 2025 awarded under DAP C to the existing provider (to enable completion of planned procurement). The aggregate contract value is forecasted at£169,879.

Explanation:

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by 21st May 2025. This contract has not yet formally been been awarded, this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.

The decision makers for this award is the ICB Executive Board . There were no Conflicts of Interest declared or identified by individuals making the decision.

The incumbent provider is currently meeting contractual requirements in line with the service specification.

The proposed contracting arrangements are not changing considerably.The provider is an existing provider, who is currently satisfying the requirements of the existing contract. The provider has been assessed against the criteria specified for this DAP C process, and the supplier meets the requirements specified, and it is expected that they will satisfy the requirements of the new contract. The 5 criteria were weighted equally at 20%, as all equally important for this service.Key criteria was specified, and assessment against each criteria was assessed based on on current service delivery model and performance.
