two.2.4) Description of the procurement

GWR is seeking partners to supply, install and commission, and maintain Automated Ticket Gates (ATGs) at various stations on GWR's network. The ATGs will provide GWR a solution capability to validate and revenue protect all currently accepted ticket media on National Rail (cEMV, ITSO, Barcode and Mag strip) ensuring all business rules apply to all media in a consistent manner. Offering a robust solution, the ATGs will provide a seamless solution with high level of availability and minimal support involvement from GWR.

The solution will offer GWR with capability to manage the ATGs locally as well as remotely.

The supplier will provide GWR with reporting on all aspects of the performance of the ATGs once installed and commissioned including, the acceptance, rejections, operational status and outages.

This is a Framework Agreement for up to a maximum of 225 walkways spread across various stations on GWR's geography.

The contract term will end on 31/3/2029. Up to 10 ATGs will be required to be installed and operational by 30/05/2025.
