These beds are for those who may require a period of reablement and assessment in a bed prior to longer term 24 hour care. This includes people discharged to a care home for the first time (likely to be a maximum of 1% of people discharged) plus existing care home residents returning to a care setting.

NHS Nottingham & Nottinghamshire ICB is holding a Market Engagement Event to inform the market of its intention to procure Discharge to Assess Beds for Pathway 3 patients. These beds are for those who may require a period of reablement and assessment in a bed prior to longer term 24 hour care.
