The London Borough of Redbridge invite interested and experienced Water Hygiene companies to attend a market engagement session. Members of the Council’s Facilities Management service and Procurement teams will be in attendance to discuss the details of the opportunity, services required and the procurement process. A presentation pack will be issued to all companies that register and request a pack. The Council would like to extend this invitation to companies and organisations of all sizes including local small and medium-sized enterprises.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

London Borough of Redbridge (LBR) will be undertaking the procurement of its Water Hygiene Contract for its corporate properties which range from buildings such as offices, schools, children’s centres etc. For clarity, this contract also includes the provision of Water Risk Assessments but does not include reactive or remedial works from either Water Hygiene Maintenance or Water Risk Assessment services.

This contract covers the requirements to maintain the assets:

a. Water Sampling – by exception

b. Cleaning and Chlorination

c. Cold Water Storage Tanks

d. Hot and Cold-Water Services (including drinking water)

e. Hot Water Storage Vessels

f. Showers and valves

g. Combination Taps and Thermostatic Mixing Valves

h. Hydrotherapy Pools

i. Water Treatment and Conditioning

Organisations who are interested in submitting a tender response are requested to register on the London Tenders Portal (www.londontenders.org) where the tender documentation will be available for download in due course.
