Description

Rail for London Infrastructure (RFLI) is a Transport for London (TfL) subsidiary, set up to provide engineering maintenance services to the Elizabeth Line.

Walter Frank is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the Pressure Regulating Valves and hold the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). They have been servicing the parts under previous commercial arrangements.

There is a total of 1438 PRVs across the network - two per fire hydrant. To avoid the component drifting out of operating tolerances, manufacturer's stipulation is for regular servicing. The Service Provider will be expected to have facilities and resources capable of servicing and returning 40 Pressure Regulating Valve (PRV) units a week.
