two.2.4) Description of the procurement
NHS South West London Integrated Care Board is seeking to appoint a suitable provider to a Special School Nursing and Therapy Service. The aim of the procurement is to set up a contract to deliver Nursing and Therapy services to Perseid Special School and Nursing services for Greenmead Special School within the South West London boroughs of Merton and Wandsworth respectively. The Contract to be offered to the recommended Bidder at the end of this Procurement will be for an initial duration of 5 years, which is intended to run from approximately 1st September 2024 (contract start date to be agreed) until approximately 31st August 2029 with the possibility of contract extensions of up to a total of a further 24 months, subject to any restrictions placed nationally by NHS England or the Department of Health and Social Care. It is the intention of the Contracting Authority to enter into a single contract with one Bidder to cover the services at both Perseid Special School and Greenmead Special School.
As advertised, the anticipated, maximum total contract value (including any potential extensions) is £7,105,000 with an annual budget set at £1,015,000.
The Services to which this Procurement relates fall within the scope of Schedule 1 of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.
This notice is an intention to award a contract under the competitive process.
