The Secretary of State for the Home Department acting through Border Force requires a supply, installation, service & maintenance, decommissioning and disposals contract for fume cabinets.
Fume cabinets are located in Border Force locations across the UK and France and allow Border Force Officers to safely and accurately test unknown substances for High Hazard Chemicals/High Hazard Drugs.
The Buyer is a professional law enforcement command within the Home Office. The Buyer is responsible for securing the UK border and promoting national prosperity by facilitating the legitimate movement of individuals and goods, whilst preventing those that would cause harm from entering the UK.

The intention of this notice is to gauge the market's level of interest and to assess the capability of the market to meet the requirement. If your organisation is interested in this requirement, please send an Expression of Interest (EoI) to:

Following expressions of interest, suppliers will be issued with a Non-Disclosure Agreement to be signed and returned to the Authority. Once received, the supplier questionnaire will be made available for completion.
The closing date for EoI will be 12:00 pm 3rd July 2024.
The closing date for return of completed supplier questionnaire will be 12:00 pm 8th July.
Suppliers will need to register in the first instance on the Authority's eSourcing portal - https://homeoffice.app.jaggaer.com/web/login.html Once registration has been completed suppliers who have expressed an interest will be given access to the event.
