two.1.4) Short description

The Alpha phase of the Integrated Hydrogen Transport Hubs project will build on the work undertaken within the Discovery phase by continuing to develop the bespoke site selection criteria with a view on physical deliverability. This detailed analysis will further enable the down-selection of a preferred site or sites to progress into detailed design. An engineering proposal will then be refined through engagement with statuary undertakers and permitting authorities to understand site specific constraints and risks. OEM's will be consulted to further refine CAPEX and OPEX costs associated with delivery, and propose the commercial and regulatory operating model in preparation for a legally binding agreement. The Beta phase delivery programme will then be designed in line with proposed delivery partners and the project supply chain, based on the findings of the work completed in Alpha.
