This is an Intention to Award Notice to award a contract using the Most Suitable Provider Process to Hertfordshire NHS Community Trust for the delivery of Covid-19 vaccinations across the East of England region from 3rd April 2025.

The value of the service provision resulting from this Procurement Process will be:

• £7.54 for administration of each covid 19 vaccination plus an additional £2.50 where seasonal influenza is not given
• £10 per dose administered to housebound patients (this excludes patients’ resident in care homes)

plus an additional block amount, to be agreed.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 2nd April 2025. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.’Representations must be made through the atamis system through project C338861 MSP - Covid Outreach Programme - East of England. The decision makers for this process are the NHS England Public Health Oversight Group.No conflicts of interest were identified. The Most Suitable Provider was deemed the most capable provider to best meet the needs of the service against the basic selection criteria and key criteria. The Key Criteria was prioritised as follows: (1) Quality & Innovation*(2) Value(3) Integration, Collaboration and Service Sustainability(4) Improving Access, Reducing Health Inequalities and Facilitating Choice*(5) Social Value* Improving Access, Reducing Health Inequalities and Facilitating Choice and Quality & Innovation are of equal importance in this MSP process.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Confirmation of Award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. This contract has now been formally awarded; this notice serves as an Confirmation of Award under the Most Suitable Provider Process under PSR.’ The contract award was concluded and finalised on 3rd April 2025.
