The Urgent Treatment Centre will be a highly accessible community based facility providing care for the local population. It will operate from 24 hours a day 365 days a year, with no appointment necessary.

The service will offer patients access to a range of healthcare professionals in order to respond to the varied needs across all ages and disabilities.· Patients will be assessed and treated and aim to reduce the· number of attendances to Emergency Departments for those conditions considered non-emergency.

This is a 12 month contract.

II.2.4: The Urgent Treatment Centre will be a highly accessible community based facility providing care for the local population. It will operate from 24 hours a day 365 days a year, with no appointment necessary.

It is the intention to award a contract an existing provider following direct award process C; this is a 12 month contract

The service will be operational between 1 April 2024 and 31 March 2025
