two.1.4) Short description
The Staffordshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner seeks to commission a Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Sexual Assault and Abuse service for victims, regardless of whether the crime has been reported to the Police or not.
The service will provide information, advice, guidance, signposting, counselling and one to one support for children and adult victims, both current and historic, as well as family members and significant others. The provider will also make onward referrals to other specialist agencies such as domestic abuse, mental health, SARC services. The wishes and feelings of sexual assault and abuse victims, should always be at the heart of service planning and delivery.
The provider is expected to work in partnership with agencies, in particular those operating within the criminal justice arena. This is an integral part of the support system for sexual assault and abuse victims.

At this stage Commissioners will be holding one market engagement event:
- A Market Engagement Event will be held on Wednesday 9th August 2023 09:00 - 14:00 at Staffordshire Police Headquarters, Conference Room 1, Block 7, Weston Road, Stafford, ST18 0YY. The purpose of this market engagement event is to provide interested parties with comprehensive details of the services required, identify opportunities for collaboration and provide information to support bid preparation.
Parties wishing to attend these events should login to, or register as a new supplier on, the In-Tend e-tendering portal and send a message to the buyer expressing an interest, before midday on Wednesday 2nd August 2023.
