The purpose of this early engagement / prior information notice is to advise, and engage, the market about a potential procurement exercise for the provision of Resident Medical Officers ('RMOs') to East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust ('the Trust').

two.2.4) Description of the procurement
The Trust would be seeking to appoint a suitably experienced provider of RMOs to seamlessly provide 24 hours a day, seven days a week cover across its three acute hospital sites:
1) Kent and Canterbury Hospital (‘KCH’), Canterbury, CT1 3NG.
2) William Harvey Hospital (‘WHH’), Ashford, TN24 0LZ.
2) Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother Hospital (‘QEQM’), Margate, CT9 4AN.
The Trust expects:
- the RMOs provided to be an integral part of the team (including the arrest team) responsible for the provision of medical care to its patients on a routine and emergency basis.
- the provider to meet all statutory regulations, and all other reasonable standards, applicable to the provision of RMOs to the NHS.
