Westminster City Council is issuing a prior information notice for the installation and refurbishment of one outdoor gym in Churchill Estate and three multi use games areas (MUGA) in Churchill Estate, Church Street and Wilberforce Primary School. These three areas are communities that face health inequalities due to low levels of physical activity, so investing in more opportunities for physical activity is a priority.

Church Street. Kennet House Multi- Use Games Area (MUGA) is not used much and needs an upgrade to make sure it is safe and attractive for children, young people, and families to play different sports and activities. Upgrades will include a new surface with markings for various games, multi-purpose hoops, goals, lights and new fencing. Churchill Estate. Johnsons Place Multi- Use Games Area (MUGA) is also not used much and needs an upgrade to make sure it is safe and appealing for children, young people and families to enjoy different sports and activities. Upgrades will include a new surface with markings for various games, multi-purpose hoops, goals, lights and new fencing. Wilberforce Primary School To construct a new astro turf floodlit all-weather pitch in the carpark of Wilberforce Primary School along Herries Street. The facility will have a 4G carpet all-weather astro turf, lights, and fence around it. The MUGA will be located in the school carpark and runs from east to west.

Westminster City Council is inviting suitably experienced and qualified suppliers to discuss future provision of services related to the installation and refurbishment of the outdoor gym and 3 multi-use games areas in Westminster borough of London, UK. The Contractor shall assume full responsibility for the preparation of the
• design, construction/fabrication drawings and for the construction of the whole of the project as described in the specification document.
• Obtaining all necessary approvals as applicable for the design and construction of the works and for carrying out all additional site investigation into the ground and other conditions which may affect the construction of the works.
• Best use of limited public funds taking into consideration social value Enablement and environmental ambitions of the council.
• Establishing a procurement partnership to deliver our legislative, sustainability, communities, diversity, and equality ambitions.
• Enabling sustainability.
• The installation of various equipment with ranges from entry level to the more challenging outdoor gym equipment.

• The contract is due to last one year with an extension option of one year. The extension is recommended as the works are weather dependent thus could require delaying the work rather than an expectation of costs or scope increasing.
Standardise processes, where possible, and maximise the use of new technology and data to provide a consistency in asset management including project management.

The Council wishes to consult with organisations with relevant experience of the delivery of similar services. The purpose of the consultation is to seek the early views of market participants on potential service delivery models available to the Council that best align with the above listed objectives.
