Extra Care Housing offers people aged over 50 the opportunity to live in the privacy of their own flat with access to care delivered by an onsite care team if needed. Extra Care services are currently available 7 days a week, 365 days a year with some schemes delivering 24-onsite care. Please refer to PPME Document for full detailsAlthough we have ticked no to Lots at this stage they are still be considered and it is likely to be split in to Lots as part of any tender package.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

Hertfordshire County Council (the ‘Council’) is carrying out Pre-Procurement Market Engagement (‘PPME’) in relation to Extra Care Services.The Council will consider the feedback received to help inform the Council’s options and further decision making. For the avoidance of doubt, this stage of the project is not part of a formal procurement process and the Council is not committing, at this stage, to carrying out such a process.Participation or non-participation in the PPME shall not prevent any supplier participating in a potential future procurement, nor is it intended that any information supplied as part of the PPME shall place any supplier at an advantage in a potential procurement process.Participation in the PPME will be at each organisation’s own cost. No expense in responding to this PPME will be reimbursed by the Council.Please download and complete the attached questionnaire and submit it by the due date in the system.This stage of the project allows the Council to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the options; technologies; methodologies; and/or solutions available to deliver its outcomes. Furthermore, this process enables organisations to effectively plan for any potential forthcoming procurement.

In order to participate in this PPME, organisations must submit their completed Supplier Questionnaire, together with any supporting documents, through the In-Tend system by the return deadline of 12.00 Noon 26th June 2024.Please make sure that you have submitted your Supplier Questionnaire following the instructions above. The Council will not be held accountable for any errors made by an organisation in submitting their Supplier Questionnaire. The Council will consider the feedback received to help inform the Council’s options and further decision making.
