This arrangement is under the AWS Government Deployment
Program (GDP) which provides a tiered discount to government customers. This will increase our current discount from X% to X%. This would mean a current spend of £1,000,000 would be further discounted to £XX.
DVSA has the opportunity to take advantage and benefit from the government wide arrangement
that has become available via CCS framework. This arrangement enables DVSA and other public
sector organisations to access AWS services compliantly using the Cloud 12 framework.

The DVSA utilises Amazon Web Services platform to build and host the majority of its Web
Hosting platform services and requires the provision to continue with developing, building,
maintaining current and future services in addition to fulfilling its Digital transformation
obligations.
DVSA has the opportunity to take advantage and benefit from the government wide arrangement
that has become available via CCS framework. This arrangement enables DVSA and other public
sector organisations to access AWS services compliantly using the Cloud 12 framework.
The contractual arrangements have been agreed between Crown Commercial Services and
treats both central and local government sector organisations as a single user with multiple points
of consumption through a One Government Value Agreement (OGVA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS). This agreement leverages the Civil Service purchasing power and provides
enhanced terms.
