two.2.4) Description of the procurement
NHS Golden Jubilee are exploring options for the possible procurement of an operating table attached compact monitor with adjustable arm, for use as part of an Endoscopic Vessel Harvesting System.
The system requires the following features:
Must be CE Marked.
Must be suitable for use in a sterile surgical field.
Mounting system must be compatible with Maquet (Getinge) operating tables.
Monitor must be positionable directly in front of the operator for either endoscopic vein harvest or endoscopic radial artery harvest, with adjustable positioning of monitor arm in horizontal and vertical planes and placed in the limited space around the operating table.
Monitor must be equipped with a sterile cover or sheath to allow fine positional adjustment to be made independently by the operator, whilst scrubbed.
Sterile cover or sheath must have optically transparent window so that the image on the monitor is not distorted by the presence of the cover.
Easily demountable when not required.
Easily cleaned / decontaminated between patients.
Display resolution compatible with 1080p input.
two.2.14) Additional information
The initial requirement is for equipment to support one Cardiac Theatre, with a possible second, third and fourth being added within the lifecycle of the Contract. However, this is not guaranteed and the Board will reserve the right to go back to market at this point.
