Products include, but are not limited to: transcatheter aortic valve implant systems including loading systems and delivery systems for the treatment of Aortic Regurgitation.

Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of £200,000 to £250,000 in the first year of this framework agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the framework agreement.
Certain products within this framework agreement could be classified as high cost tariff excluded devices and may be considered under the NHS England High Cost Tariff Excluded Devices (HCTED) programme. Trusts who are commissioned to provide specialised services in England are directed to purchase all their requirements through a national supply system through NHS Supply Chain.

Applicants wishing to express interest in this PIN are required to answer 3 mandatory questions and supply the following certification:
1) UKCA or CE certificate from a notified body which confirms the device has approval for the treatment of both symptomatic aortic regurgitation and aortic stenosis.
The questions are located within SQ_245, Title: Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement for Severe High Surgical Aortic Regurgitation (AR) under the ‘My Response’ tab. Applicants can submit their response once they have expressed interest in the PIN. Applicant must attach their CE certificate within the ‘My Response’ tab.
The closing date/time for the SQ is the same as the PIN closing date/time: 28th July 2022; 15:00hrs BST.
The purpose of this notice is to draw attention to a procurement that NHS Supply Chain intends to commence during the subsequent 2 months and understand the number of potential suppliers.
The Framework Agreement between NHS Supply Chain and successful suppliers will reserve the right to purchase the same or similar supplies and/or services from suppliers not appointed to the Framework Agreement at its sole discretion.
NHS Supply Chain expects to provide successful suppliers with the opportunity to offer additional savings to customers through the provision of discounted pricing, value added offerings and commitment/bulk buy initiatives.
Framework Agreement will be between NHS Supply Chain and the Supplier, however 1) NHS Supply Chain, 2) any NHS Trust; 3) any other NHS entity; 4) any government department, agency or other statutory body and/or 5) any private sector entity active in the UK healthcare sector will be able to enter into a direct contract with the Supplier for any of the supplies and/or services under the Framework.
