The programme should look to develop band 8A and band 7 Nurses, AHPs and Midwives of the future from all areas The programme will be aimed at those whose primary function is leading services or teams.

University Hospitals Birmingham is one of the leading NHS trusts in the UK, serving a regional, national, and international population. With multiple sites including, Birmingham Chest Clinic, Heartlands Hospital, Good Hope Hospital, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, and Solihull Hospital, more than 2.2 million patients are seen and treated at UHB every year.

It should provide them with the opportunity to learn more skills, tools and techniques, enabling them to apply and use these directly in their roles as band 8A and band 7 leaders.
