The University is undertaking will be a competitive procedure with negotiation.The intention is to invite options for procurement of a base framework for a Digital Twin as set out in the specifications, at a city scale. This will become a digital asset for Birmingham and the West Midlands region and a platform for accelerating the digital economy of the city and region. It will be integrated with use cases envisaged as self-contained applications aligned with the themes of Air Quality, Energy systems and Infrastructure and Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles and initially focused around the Tyseley Environmental Enterprise District(TEED) in East Birmingham. The aim is for this base framework to grow when further funding becomes available, so ensuring future proofing is essential to the design.The deadline for submitting clarifications for the SQ stage will be 14th July 2023 at 3PM.
