The University is seeking Contractor(s) to provide campus wide electrical services. The services required will include but may not be limited to the maintenance and repair for the electrical equipment across the campus.

The University is using an e-Tendering System for this procurement exercise. The system is called Public Contracts Scotland-Tender (PCS-T) website. The ITT is only available in electronic form which can be accessed via your web browser. No hard copies will be accepted.

Bidders must be registered with the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS).

The minimum qualification requirement is time served tradesmen with City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 Electrical Skills as detailed below.

Training in following subjects must have been undertaken within the past year:

Asbestos Awareness;

Waste disposal procedures;

With reference to SPD question 4B.5, it is a requirement of this contract that bidders hold, or can commit to obtain prior to the commencement of any subsequently awarded contract, the types and levels of insurance indicated below;

Bidders must confirm they can provide the following supporting evidence prior to award:

-Employer's (Compulsory) Liability Insurance = 5 Million GBP

-Professional Liability Insurance = 5 Million GBP

With reference to SPD question 4B.6 - The successful bidder will be required to provide 2 years audited accounts, or equivalent prior to Contract award, or confirm in their tender submission the publicly accessible, free, online location of accounts if available in such a format
