Norfolk County Council has appointed a single provider for the provision of Suicide Prevention ServicesSuicide prevention remains a national priority. The national strategy outlines two principal objectives: to reduce the suicide rate in the general population and provide better information and support for those bereaved or affected by suicide.Norfolk & Waveney Integrated Care System (ICS) area is one of eight areas previously prioritised by NHS England to receive transformation funding for suicide prevention activities, as part of the National Suicide Prevention Programme. The county’s Suicide Prevention Strategy 2021-2026 aims to reduce the suicide rate across Norfolk and Waveney to as close to zero as possible.The service will deliver localised suicide bereavement resources including an intensive support offer immediately after a suspected suicide
