UK Shared Prosperity Funding has been allocated to Scottish local authorities to develop and deliver a range of UKSPF interventions,

including Multiply. Multiply is a new programme to help transform the lives of adults by improving their numeracy skills. Service

provision is to consist of a range of maths related further education courses and intensive/flexible programmes for adult numeracy.

The Multiply programme is funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund with a focus on supporting adult numeracy, supporting people

across the UK to improve their functional numeracy skills for adults aged 19 plus. The service provider will require to achieve the

following success measures:-

more adults achieving a maths qualification/participating in numeracy courses leading to improved labour market outcomes:

increased adult numeracy across the population:

Service provider to offer a mixed model of delivery, to include maths modules embedded into other vocational courses:

innovative programmes delivered with employers:

new intensive and flexible courses targeted at people without Level 5 in maths in Scotland.
