Scope

Description

The Council is committed to implementing a new finance system (Unit4) due to go live before Sept 2025 when the current finance system is switched off.

Embridge Consulting initially carried out a standalone piece of work early in the project (awarded via G-Cloud).

Since completion of the initial work, it has come to light that additional resource is required to ensure a smooth transition onto the new system.

South Kesteven DC intend to award a new contract with Embridge Consulting as they are a recognised partner of Unit 4 and already have knowledge of this specific project so would be able to provide consistency in work.

Use of another supplier at this stage of the project would cause delays on an already time sensitive project due to the additional time it would take to get a new supplier up to speed on the project.

Contract value - £200,000 Ex. VAT.

Supplier carried out an initial piece of work at the start of project. However, it has come to light that additional support and resource is required from the same supplier in order to maintain consistency.

Switching to another supplier would cause delays and additional costs to the project due to additional time required to get a new supplier up to speed on the project.
