Explanation:
Innovation Gateway Ltd will provide the University Estates team with a unique membership offering, including research services and access to international professional organisations, an innovation network and supporting ecosystem that will contribute to and codevelop solutions we are looking for within collaborative working groups that are not offered by other service providers.
Innovation Gateway Ltd bring together cross-sectoral national and international partners (both within and beyond higher education) with a clear focus on identifying world leading, cutting edge solutions. These services not only support the University Estates Team's strategic ambitions around efficiency, carbon reduction solutions and the environment and provides the knowledge and expertise we need. The Innovation Gateway team's innovation research services are important and the decision to procure their services directly was taken in order to sustain critical, time sensitive work within the University's Estates team.
There is an absence of competition for this service as it can only be provided by this particular provider due to technical reasons.
