Leicestershire Children and Family Services (CFS) is currently reviewing the future provision of residential overnight short breaks for disabled young people in Leicestershire. Through issuing this advert Leicestershire County Council is seeking feedback from the market to inform this review and the development of any future procurement process.

Any organisation or group of organisations interested in participating in this market engagement exercise should express an interest through the Council’s eTendering website and complete the Request For Information document. The response should be completed and returned to the Council, via the eTendering portal, by 17.00 21 July 2023.

Following submission of responses the Council may seek to hold discussions with suitable organisations.

Please note, the Council intends to use the information gathered to inform the review of the future provision of residential overnight short breaks for disabled young people in Leicestershire. Participating in this exercise will not affect any party positively or negatively during any eventual procurement process and the Council reserve the right not to proceed with any procurement process. Interested parties are further advised that any information submitted during the market engagement exercise will not form part of an interested party’s tender submission and that

a failure to respond to this notice will not preclude them from responding to any future contract notice. The Council will not meet any costs incurred by any party in responding to this notice. All responses will be treated as confidential. This market engagement exercise is being conducted via the East Midlands Procurement portal (www.eastmidstenders.org) further information on this exercise can be obtained from this website. The response should be completed and returned to the Council, via the e-Tendering portal, by 17.00 21 July 2023.
