Scope
Description
The UK's Ministry of Defence (MOD) aims to gain operational advantages in challenging environments through the use of quantum-enhanced Position, Navigation, and Timing (QE PNT) technologies. The initial emphasis is on atomic clocks and frequency standards due to their immediate impact on defence and security. Timing technologies are crucial across all platforms and applications, and Dstl has developed high-impact military scenarios and technical challenges to support several use cases.
This initiative aims to mature and accelerate innovations towards enhancing Defence capabilities in novel timing devices and systems for testing outside a laboratory. The trials will be held at the Defence Battle Lab in Winfrith Newburgh, Dorset, UK, with up to eight demonstrators being accommodated. - Please refer to the attachments for further details and how to contact the authority with your expression of interest.
