The service will provide a post op (cataract) follow up service to patients of Somerset NHS Foundation Trust

Contract start date: 26 June 2024
Contract end date: 31 March 2026
Optional 2 x 12-month extension to 31 March 2028.
Total contract value: £440,000.00 (inc. optional extension).

Quality and value are the most important factors for this contract, as the Provider will be supporting the department and minimising waiting times.

The existing supplier provides a highly accessible service, offering patient choice through local OPTOMS. They have a proven track record, and they are highly likely to be able to satisfy the new contract to a sufficient standard.
